COMPUTER ASSIST HEALTH CHECK FOR MAC — macOS BETA

Version: 0.1.0-preview
Status: Unsigned public beta for supervised macOS testing
Support: support@computer-assist.ca | 416-800-2812

Important

- This beta has not completed Apple code-signing, notarization or broad macOS testing.
- If macOS, Gatekeeper or security software displays a warning or blocks the file, stop. Do not bypass the warning or weaken Mac security.
- Use this beta only while the computer owner is present and agrees.
- Do not run it with sudo or as an administrator.

What it does

- Reads basic macOS, hardware, storage, memory, update, security, startup-count, network-interface, battery and backup-health information.
- Creates one local HTML report and one local JSON report in a folder on the Mac Desktop.
- Makes no repairs and changes no settings.
- Installs nothing and creates no background or permanent remote access.
- Does not perform an internet speed test and uploads or sends nothing automatically.

What it does not read

- Passwords, authentication codes, Wi-Fi passwords or Apple Account data
- Serial number, hardware UUID, computer name or user name
- Personal document, photo, email or message contents
- Browser history, bookmarks or saved passwords
- Application, startup-item or file names
- Keystrokes, screenshots, webcam or microphone data

How to test it

1. Extract the complete ZIP into a new folder.
2. Double-click ComputerAssist-HealthCheck-Mac.command.
3. Read the on-screen description.
4. Type the exact word YES only if you agree to the listed checks.
5. When it finishes, review the HTML report before sharing anything.
6. Delete the script and reports whenever you choose; there is no uninstaller.

If the beta does not start or macOS displays a warning, stop and contact Computer Assist. Do not use sudo, change Gatekeeper settings or click through a security warning.
