Under Get Support, follow Google's instructions. Google may ask you to download and install Chrome Remote Desktop first. If your computer asks for its password, type it yourself and never read it aloud. Do not choose the separate permanent Remote Access option.
Read the code to your Computer Assist technician during the live conversation. Do not email it, leave it in voicemail or enter it into the Computer Assist website.
Google shows the helper's email address before access begins. Read it and confirm it with your technician, then select Share. Use Stop Sharing whenever you want the session to end. Google asks again every 30 minutes whether sharing should continue.
Chrome Remote Desktop is provided by Google and is not owned by Computer Assist. Google says remote desktop sessions are fully encrypted. Its removal steps differ for Windows and Mac, so follow the current official instructions for your computer. Read Google's instructions and removal steps.
