When a computer slows down, crashes or stops doing the job you need, start with a clear diagnosis—not pressure to replace it. Work directly with Computer Assist for practical remote or Toronto onsite help.
The first job is to identify the cause, explain the evidence and agree on the safest useful next step.

Troubleshoot freezing, repeated messages, startup trouble and common Windows or software problems.
Help with connection issues, printers, peripherals and everyday setup problems.

Configure updates and applications and transfer ordinary files after confirming the backup plan.
Check what appears protected, identify obvious gaps and test a safe restore without promising recovery.
One-hour minimum. Best for software, accounts, settings and problems that do not require a physical visit.
One-hour minimum in Toronto. Best when physical equipment, connections or multiple devices are involved.
Same-day or emergency priority when availability permits and the problem cannot reasonably wait.
Computer Assist does not advertise clean-room data recovery, microsoldering, liquid-damage board repair or manufacturer warranty work. If a drive is clicking, disappearing or contains irreplaceable data, stop using it and request an assessment before installing recovery or cleanup software.

We verify the original problem together, review follow-up and visibly end remote access before closing the session.
Remote support is CAD $125 per hour and Toronto onsite support is CAD $150 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. Same-day or emergency priority support is CAD $175 per hour. Parts, paid software and specialist services are separate.
General troubleshooting may be available, but the current repair offer is Windows-first. Share the Mac model, macOS version and problem so fit can be confirmed before booking.
Simple recovery from an existing backup or version history may be possible. Physical failure, severe corruption or high-value lost data may require a specialist. Recovery is never guaranteed.
Yes, when the computer can still connect to the internet. Attended sessions use a new one-time code while you remain present and can end access at any time.
